AWS credit expiry and the December 31, 2027 deadline

Plan redemption and eligible usage around the stated AWS expiry, then verify the date in your AWS account.

The seller lists December 31, 2027 as the expiry for both the US$25 and US$100 AWS codes. Plan to redeem well before this date.

Redemption does not restart the expiry

AWS promotional credit cannot be redeemed after its designated expiry. Redeeming a code does not give it a new fixed validity period. AWS says redeemed credit can offset eligible charges in the entire billing cycle in which it expires. See the official expiration terms.

Do not leave redemption to the final day. The listed offer date does not specify a cutoff time or time zone, so allow time to resolve account or code issues.

Check the date in AWS Billing

After applying the code, select it under Billing and Cost Management → Credits and record its Expiration date alongside the credit name. AWS documents these fields in its credit details guide.

Keep that record with your purchase confirmation. If the displayed date differs from the advertised offer, contact the seller with the order reference and the relevant details.

Make a practical usage plan

Estimate how much eligible usage you need before the deadline. Buying a larger value makes sense when you have a workload that will use it within the available period.

Set a reminder to review the balance and running resources before expiry. Decide whether to keep, resize, or retire each workload, and check backup requirements before removing data.

Use the AWS budgeting guide to plan ongoing costs beyond the credit.
