AWS promotional credit offsets eligible AWS service charges. It is not a cash balance or an unlimited service allowance. AWS defines the eligible services for each promotion in its promotional credit terms.
The two AWS codes
Our catalog contains US$25 and US$100 AWS credit codes. Both have a stated expiry of December 31, 2027. These are the offer details supplied by the seller; the dollar amounts describe the AWS credit value. Check the product page for the purchase price.
Choose a value based on the eligible usage you already expect to run. See the AWS credit-code options for their details.
What happens after redemption
AWS applies active credits to eligible bills automatically. You can review the credit’s balance, dates, applicable products, and application history in Billing and Cost Management → Credits. AWS explains this in its guide to applying credits.
Credit value and service coverage
A US$100 code describes its face value. It does not establish that every charge on a US$100 bill qualifies. Review the specific credit’s applicable products and plan for charges outside its coverage.
Credits do not cover taxes. AWS Marketplace purchases, Route 53 domain registration or transfer, and upfront Savings Plans or Reserved Instance fees are also excluded unless AWS authorizes otherwise. The AWS terms contain the complete exclusions.
Prepare your account
Before paying, contact the seller to review your AWS account plan, previous AWS credit redemptions, and intended services. Keep a record of your credit history, then follow our AWS redemption guide.
