Common AWS credit redemption mistakes

Avoid the wrong account, repeat code use, unverified stacking assumptions, and confusion about AWS billing balances.

Take a minute to check the account, credit history, and offer details before entering your AWS code.

Redeeming in the wrong AWS account

Confirm the account ID in the console before you submit the code. AWS restricts each code to a single redemption on one account. See the official promotional credit terms.

Assuming another code will always stack

The seller uses “stack number” to describe a program’s redemption limit for the same credit name or Event ID. Check the AWS credit limit before purchasing another code, and keep your prior redemption records.

Do not assume a new month resets the limit or that the US$25 and US$100 denominations use different limits. An exact AWS credit stack number needs confirmation for this offer.

Using a Free account plan without checking eligibility

AWS documents that its Free account plan is ineligible for other promotional credits. Review AWS account plans and our eligibility guide before purchase.

Mistaking the displayed balance for a live meter

The Amount remaining balance reflects the last billing cycle; the credit details also provide a current-month estimate. Review the date context rather than repeatedly attempting to redeem the same code. AWS explains the figures in its billing guide.

Missing the expiry or exposing the code

Both listed codes expire December 31, 2027. Set a reminder, redeem early, and keep the delivered code private. If an error occurs, save the message and use the support channel with your order reference.
